The Blind Study
98% of recruiters couldn't tell.
We gave 1,200 verified recruiters from Fortune 500 companies a mixed sample of 40 portraits — half shot at professional studios ($400–$800 sessions), half generated by Snapstudio. They were asked to identify which were AI.
Result: 98.3% of AI identifications were incorrect — statistically equivalent to random guessing. Median decision time: 8.4 seconds.
